Design and Engineering Services are required for the Traffic Safety Engineering Evaluation of Hickok Road. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked with the RFP number, and returned to the City of Saratoga Springs Department of Accounts. All bids must be made on the official bid form or an exact reproduction and must include the required forms at the time of submission, or the bid may be disqualified. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty calendar days after the opening date. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and disregard nonconforming or non-responsive bid documents. Every request for interpretation of the bid must be made in writing. All addenda issued become part of the bid and are binding. Bids must be submitted on documents supplied by the City, be regular in every respect, and may not include interlineations, excisions, or special conditions by the bidder. Each bid must include an executed Non-Collusive and Vendor Code of Conduct Affidavit. The City and Town are seeking proposals to conduct a traffic safety evaluation of the existing Hickcok Road conditions, to identify if additional traffic control devices, and other enhanced safety elements should be provided. Such treatments/improvements as; additional traffic signs, pavement markings, guiderails, sight distance enhancements, and, delineation to the existing road geometry. Please note that the City of Saratoga Springs is acting as the lead agent on this study.
