Site work for a water / sewer project in Roxana, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids will be received for the Sanitary Sewer Extension for Burbank Park. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Special attention must be given to and compliance with project insurance and bonding requirements. Bids from partnerships or joint ventures are not acceptable. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of at least five percent of the amount bid, made payable to the Village of Roxana as security for proper contract execution. The Illinois Department of Labor prevailing wages will apply and hiring preference will be given to Illinois citizens. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids in the best interest of the owner. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the bid opening.
