The County of York, Virginia (the "County") is seeking bids from qualified firms (the "Bidder", "Vendor" or "Contractor") to furnish the goods and/or services described herein, for submittal to the County as specified above. The scope of work and specifications shall be as defined in this solicitation document, the Construction Drawings entitled "Kayla Court Sanitary Court Sewer Extension", prepared by (Brown and Caldwell), dated August 2025 (posted with this solicitation document on online), and the Project Manual (posted with this solicitation document on online). Plans are the property of the Owner and shall not be used for any purposes other than those specified in this solicitation and its resulting Contract. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and agency approvals, and shall adhere to all Federal, State and Local regulations. Fees for York County Building permits will be waived; Contractor is responsible for payment of all other permits and related expenses. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and supplies required and necessary for the proper completion of the work whether each necessary item is mentioned herein or not. The Contractor shall provide all services for the work and the removal of rubble and debris to an appropriate disposal area. Substantial Completion: 120 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Final Completion: 180 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids from Contractors and to establish a contract with Contractor(s) to furnish/provide to the County, in strict accordance with the terms and conditions, specifications and other documentation provided herein, and as enumerated in the resultant Contract, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.
