PART A: VARIOUS EMERGENCY REPAIRS - SOUTHSIDE ROAD, NORTH HARBOUR The work involves washout repairs and improvements to Southside Road at North Harbour at various locations. The scope includes, but not limited to, placement and compaction of rock fill to repair damaged shoulders, placement of hydraulic Class II rip rap at toe of slope for shoulder repairs, cleaning inlet/outlet of various culverts, installation of new culverts, extension to existing culverts (1m minimum), road shoulder grubbing, ditching, and placement of hydraulic class III rip rap shoreline protection as directed by department representative. Force account work as required. PART B: EMERGENCY REPAIRS - BEN POWERS ROAD, NORTH HARBOUR The work involves washout repairs and improvements to Ben Power's Road at North Harbour. The scope includes, but not limited to, asphalt cutting, removal and disposal in damaged areas, excavation and removal of USM and debris (to be paid as item 26 - Backhoe Hours), placement and compaction of Class "A" granular material, placement and compaction of rock fill, placement of hydraulic class III rip rap shoreline protection as directed by department representative.
