Anticipated approval by Albany Housing Authority Board of Directors February 10, 2026 Scope of Work - Mechanical Engineering Services: The Albany Housing Authority (AHA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional mechanical engineering services in support of the Capital Fund Program, funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Services may include but are not limited to the design, bidding, and implementation of projects identified by AHA related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems. Projects include, but are not limited to, the boiler replacement at Townsend Park Homes, located at 45 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206. The selected firm may also be required to perform owner's representative responsibilities, coordinating directly with the Albany Housing Authority to oversee project execution, ensure design intent, maintain compliance with HUD and AHA standards, and support successful project delivery.
