Mowing and grounds maintenance is expected to occur once a week in summer (June-December) and every other week in winter (January-May), for a minimum of 40 service visits per year; but may be increased based on request from the Division Representative or designee. Included in the unit price quote for mowing and ground maintenance, Vendor shall perform the following tasks including but not limited to: o Mowing of the entire property o Removal of debris or anything that blocks the regular mow service, such as but not limited to dead or faded faux flowers or wreaths, and wreath stands on or around graves, broken glass or other potentially dangerous mementos, and broken or flattened plastic or metal lattice/fence enclosures around graves. o Edging around the cement drive area, as needed. o Weed eating the fence lines and around headstones or monuments. o At the request of the Division Representative or designee, chemical treatment of weeds and dwarf palmetto sprouts over or around fence lines and headstones. o Chemicals required must be non-damaging to the headstones and approved prior to application by the Division Representative or designee.
