Project No: 250431BE GCCISD Baytown Junior School Roof Replacement The work includes but is not limited to the following: Replacement of the existing roofing system with a new roofing system. The estimated construction budget for this project is $1,850,000.00. Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District (GCCSD) serves more than 24,000 students across the Baytown and Highlands communities, covering approximately 134 square miles just 30 miles east of Houston, Texas. The district comprises 32 campuses, 6 high schools (3 traditional/3 specialty), 6 junior schools, 16 elementary schools and 1 early learning academy, 1 alternative school, a dedicated Robotics Center, and a virtual school serving students in grades 4 through 12. Pursuant to the provisions of Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter D, as amended, it is the intention of the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District ("GCCISD") to select via the competitive sealed proposal ("CSP") process a construction contractor for construction services for GCCISD Baytown Junior School Roof Replacement described herein. Within forty-five (45) days after the opening of the proposals, the GCCISD shall evaluate and rank each proposal submitted in relation to the selected criteria set forth below. The GCCISD shall either select a construction contractor from the respondents to this CSP or reject all proposals. Goose Creek CISD reserves the right to postpone, to accept or reject any or all proposals as it deems to be in its best interest, and to waive formalities and reasonable irregularities in bidding.
