Site work for a water / sewer project in Beauvallon, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The intent of this Request for Qualification (RFQ) is to seek qualified submissions from Proponents with proven experience in the construction of underground pipelines and appurtenances. 2482.0025.02-12 Alberta Central East Water Corporation (ACE) wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Proponents for the replacement for approximately 14.5 km of an existing 250mm diameter Fusible PVC waterline. The extent of the project is within the Highway 45 right-of-way from Musidora to Beauvallon. The waterline is planned to be replaced with 200mm diameter HDPE DR11 pipe using pipe bursting methods. Approximately 2.0 km is planned to be reinstalled parallel to the existing pipe by horizontal directional drilling. The pipe that is reinstalled parallel to the existing pipe shall be offset by two (2) meters to the south of the existing pipe. The current waterline provides adequate potable water for the communities of the Hamlet of Beauvallon, the Village of Myrnam and the Hamlet of Derwent. Supply of potable water shall continue during all construction activities to the aforementioned communities. Documents can be obtained from https://mpe.bidsandtenders.ca/
