Site work for a water / sewer project in Carle Place, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Project has been Rebid The project involves erecting a new retaining wall to support surrounding grade of higher elevation for future site development. The scope also includes the demolition of an existing building and various site improvements such as installing a new guide rail, ornamental fence, asphalt paving, and site rough grading. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Carle Place Water District in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid as a commitment to enter into a contract if selected and to provide further required security for contract performance. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed in their best interest. All work shown and specified in the contract documents and included in this bid shall be completed within one-hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 11/28/2025 No interpretation of the meaning of the Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents will be made to any bidder orally. Prospective bidders must request, in writing, such interpretation from the District Engineer, and same will be provided by the District Engineer, in writing. To be given consideration, such request must be received at least seven (7) working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
