Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carle Place, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The project includes streetscape improvements and roadway resurfacing along Westbury Avenue, extending from Jamaica Blvd. to Carle Rd. Work consists of removal and replacement of curbs, sidewalks, driveway aprons, and curb ramps. Several new drainage structures will be installed, modifications made to existing drainage structures, and some replacement of concrete top slabs. Roadway work involves milling and paving, installing new pavement markings, and replacing or upgrading roadway signs. Select trees will be removed and replaced. The successful bidder and their subcontractors must have or create a SAM.gov ID number and agree to retain all records pertaining to the project for at least five years to be eligible for award of a contract.
