Scope of Work: Construction of a new connector hallway to connect the two existing classroom wings for improved circulation Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code Section 2269, it is the intention of the Argyle Independent School District to select a Construction Manager at Risk for Various Projects as described via a Request for Qualifications as part of a two-step selection process. The District plans to utilize the AIA document A133-2009 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor, where the basis of the payment is the Cost of Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price, as modified by the District, along with AIA201-2017 General Conditions of the Contract for Construction as modified by the District. The Owner's supplementary conditions to the A133 and A201 will be made available to finalists selected to proceed to Step 2 of this selection process. The selected Construction Manager is to assist the District and its Architects with cost estimating, cost analysis and budget control efforts, constructability reviews, detailed phasing of projects and scheduling, during the design and construction document phases, as part of the pre-construction services.
