The Livingston County housing authority is inviting sealed bid proposals for the Livingston Apartments 1st Floor Renovation, located at 920 West Madison Street, Pontiac, Illinois. The scope of work consists of interior renovations as detailed within the construction documents, including but not limited to renovating the 1st Floor spaces; doors, finishes, equipment, and fixtures. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A performance bond, separate labor and material payment bond, and acceptable insurance will be required of the successful bidder. The owner requires that contractors and vendors do not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non-job-related handicaps, or national origin. Successful bidders shall observe fair employment practices, comply with the Illinois prevailing wage act, and use wage determinations as provided by the Illinois Department of Labor.
