Sealed proposals are requested for the construction of the following sections for Livingston County: 49.0 tons of calcium chloride in solution; 2,000 tons of CA-6 or 10 furnished and delivered to stockpile; 250 tons of CA-16 (3/8" chips) furnished and delivered to stockpile; 45 tons of CA-16 double washed (3/8" chips) furnished and delivered to stockpile; 19,310 tons of CA-6 or 10 furnished and delivered to jobsite; additionally, furnish FOB pit, quarry, or plant for 2,000 tons of CA-6 or 10, 700 tons of CA-16 (3/8" chips), 300 tons of FA-06 (blotter aggregate), 100 tons of CA-3, 320 tons of riprap, and 100 tons of Class "I" bituminous concrete. Supply 780 high-intensity (Type AP) signs for the county. Perform 1,693,278 square yards of bituminous seal on roads and provide and install combined corrugated steel culvert pipes from 12" to 120". Paint pavement markings, including 647,164 linear feet of 4" yellow line and 604,438 linear feet of 4" white line on county highways and various road districts. Proposals must be submitted on specified forms obtainable online. All Bidder's Authorization Forms must be completed and on file prior to 1:00 p.m. the business day before the letting date. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination due to race, color, or national origin. The Highway Committee reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
