Sealed bids are requested for mechanical work at Grant Park Elementary School, Grant Park, Illinois. The work is to be performed in accordance with the proposed contract documents prepared by Healy Bender Patton & Been Architects. Bids will be received on general contract work, including all trades. Bidders are required to complete a Registered Plan Holder Record form and a Bidding Documents License Agreement in order to receive bidding documents and become registered plan holders. The project documents, including addenda and clarifications, will be distributed to registered plan holders. Each bidder must satisfactorily complete the Bidder Responsibility process by providing the required documents listed in Section 01 00 00 - Bidder Responsibility Criteria, delivered with the sealed bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft totaling no less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount. The contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
