Tenders are invited for providing all labor, supervision, vehicles, tools and materials, including all transportation required, to perform maintenance, repair, operation of agricultural equipment, moving of pipe, removing fences, cleaning culverts, clearing vegetation, and other work as specified herein and required from time to time, at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation Districts Prairie Plan Site in Fulton County, Illinois. The Contract is divided into three Groups: Group A Agricultural Management (operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and agricultural equipment with specified labor), Group B Agricultural Fieldside Mowing (labor and equipment to perform mowing for about 1,600 acres), Group C Fence Installation and Removal (labor, equipment, and materials to install and remove woven or barbed wire fence). Bidders may submit for any one Group or combination of Groups, but must bid on every item within that Group or mark NO BID where applicable. There is no bid deposit requirement, but a Contractors bond is mandatory. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Euna Portal. Failure to conform to the requirements, including proper submission and completion of all items, may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Bidders are strongly urged to inspect the work sites prior to bidding to familiarize themselves with the work and methods needed to accomplish it. All contracts are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidding documents and addenda are available online at the Districts website.
