*As of January 19, 2025 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.* Carter County, Tennessee is accepting bids for the Bridge Replacement Project - Poga #1 and Poga #2 over Elk River. All bids must be submitted in writing, meet all provided specifications, and be received by the Carter County Finance Office before the specified date and time. No oral, phone, or faxed bids are accepted, and late bids will not be considered. Bids must be signed by an authorized representative and include the representative's title. Carter County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, negotiate after bid submission, and waive any informalities. A mandatory Pre-proposal meeting will be held utilizing TEAMS on December 16, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. EST. Contractors requesting this solicitation and project plans shall provide the following: Name of company, License Number, License Classification, Address, Phone Number and email address.
