(See H&H Study for details.) Inlet/Outlet Controls: The design includes concrete headwalls and 45 wingwalls, along with riprap for erosion control and energy dissipation around the inlet and outlet. This configuration helps minimize scour and maintain stable flow conditions. Additional Scope of Work Criteria o Asphalt removal, culvert replacements, stone replacement, guardrail replacement, ditching and reshaping, removal of corrugated pipes, placement of precast concrete structure, rip rap rock replacement, seeding and strawing of disturbed areas. o Ditch line Reshaping and Repair with suitable materials Slope Stabilization with Rip Rap stone. o Contractor will be responsible for disposal of all material removed at the time of construction. o Contractor will be responsible for all material to complete work. General Scope of Work Criteria o Contractor will be required to notify Carter County Highway Department and all necessary Emergency Agencies within 24 hours of starting work. o Contractor will be responsible for providing all Permitting, Signage, Rd Closure Notices and any necessary Traffic Detours and/or Traffic Control. o Notification to the Highway Department and all necessary Emergency Agencies is required prior to any closures or detours, including but not limited to inclement weather delays of any kind. o Once the contract has been awarded, a completion date of 120 days will be required with an allowance of up to, but not to exceed 20 days for inclement weather: not to exceed 140 days before project completion.
