Bids are being accepted for various chemicals used in the wastewater system. The products will be purchased and used during the 2026 calendar year. Chemicals specified include Ferrous Chloride, Ferric Chloride 40 percent, Cationic Polymer (Gravity Belt), Cationic Polymer (Belt Filter Press), Anionic Polymer, Sodium Hypochlorite 10 percent, Sodium Hydroxide 25 percent, Sodium Hydroxide 50 percent, and Phosphoric Acid 75 percent. Sealed bids must be submitted to the City Clerk, City-County Building, 300 W. Ash, Room 206, Salina, Kansas. Vendors may submit bids for as many individual chemicals as desired and are not required to bid on all chemicals. No response is necessary for chemicals not being bid on. The City of Salina reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
