The Owner’s Representative (OR) shall provide scope management, risk management, configuration management, project reporting, progress meetings, project closeout, and services for the duration of the construction period of the project, as outlined in Exhibit B, Owner’s Representative’s Scope of Services. The OR is to assist in construction oversight of a new South Outpost facility, which will house an Administration Building (4,350 SF), Vehicle Storage Building (24,570 SF), Brine/Vehicle Wash (3,700 SF), Salt Storage Barn (12,800 SF), Material Storage Structure (5,075 SF), and a Fuel island (1,875 SF) on a 4.69-acre site at 2260 Lockbourne Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207. Existing buildings will be demolished prior to new construction. The project delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk. The OR will be responsible for project management services throughout all phases (construction, commissioning, and occupancy), development and documentation of Owner Project Requirements, and facilitation of project discussions and planning. The OR should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in overseeing vertical construction projects, with at least 10 of those years in a full-time capacity. Qualified firms must demonstrate recent successful experience as Owner’s Representatives on similar complex public projects. This solicitation follows Section 329 of the Columbus City Code, and the City emphasizes diversity and inclusion throughout the project’s development, design, construction, and operation phases. The OR will work cooperatively with the owner and act as a liaison with all stakeholder agencies and other entities as necessary to ensure successful completion of the project.
