The City of Spokane is soliciting proposals from firms with expertise in surveying, such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, writing legal descriptions for easements and acquisitions, and researching boundary lines. The scope of services may include tasks associated with surveying during both design and construction. Types of tasks or project components may involve boundary surveying, topographical and site surveying, mapping, construction staking, writing parcel or easement legal descriptions, monument preservation, and DNR permit processing. The projects that may require survey work include, but are not limited to, roadway and trail projects, school safe routes, sidewalk improvements, and street preservation initiatives. Estimated individual project fees are expected to range from approximately $5,000 to $95,000 and will be based on negotiated hourly rates for each project. The City will contract separately with the selected consultant for each named project as survey consulting needs arise. There is no mandatory DBE requirement for these federally funded projects.
