Site work and paving for a road / highway in Buckeye, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The design intent is to make all necessary improvements for West Indian School Road to match the desired ultimate condition, a 7-lane major arterial cross section that is modified to mat the City of Goodyear standard. Portions of West Indian School Road are under MCDOT jurisdiction and will most likely need to be annexed into the City, and West Indian School Road east of North Perryville Road is within the City of Goodyear jurisdiction. The intersection improvements to West Indian School Road and North Perryville Road are outside of the scope, as well as any additional driveways and points of access beyond what exists unless identified as necessary within the Design Concept Report. Tiling of adjacent irrigation ditches will only be within scope, if necessary, due to space constraints and are identified within the DCR. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 05, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
