Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Provide all materials, labor, tools and equipment, and incidentals for the complete and proper installation and completion of this project, as indicated in the contract documents. All work is located on the North Carolina State Ports Authority property at the Port of Wilmington. Question Deadline 01/20/2026 Justification of any approvals will be made available to the public in writing no later than seven (7) days prior to bid date. The meeting will also address project specific questions, issues and bidding procedures. Bids will be received for Single prime construction contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. Bidders should clearly indicate on the outside of the bid envelope 1. Bid Proposal for ZPMC STS Crane Improvements 2. NC General Contractor's License Number 3. Bid listed as "Single Prime Bid". The project includes furnishing materials identified in the contract documents, and all labor and equipment to perform all the work associated with the ZPMC STS Crane Improvements, located on the North Carolina State Ports Authority property at the Port of Wilmington. A Pre-Bid meeting will not be held for this project. The owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof a bidder may offer a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid executed by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute the contract in accordance with the bid bond. Said deposit shall be retained by the owner as liquidated damages in event of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract within ten days after the award or to give satisfactory surety as required by law. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 90-calendar days Justification of any approvals will be made available to the public in writing no later than seven (7) days prior to bid date. The meeting will also address project specific questions, issues and bidding procedures.
