The purpose of this project is to remediate corrosion on critical mechanical and structural elements of the City Tunnel No. 3 (CT3) system, which forms part of New York City's water supply system, and to provide measures to resist corrosion in the future. This project is necessary to mitigate the risk of failures, increase service life, and maintain reliable service. The anticipated term of the contract awarded from this RFP is for 1,625 consecutive calendar days.
