Renovation of a mixed-use development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 150,000-square-foot, one-story above grade office development; and 150,000-square-foot, one-story above grade industrial development.
Metropolitan Utilities District is renovating their existing construction center to support their current operations including garage, transportation shops, facilities shop, office space, warehouse/storage, consisting of approximately 150,000 square feet, located at 3100 S. 61st Ave., Omaha, NE 68106. MCL Construction is requesting bids for the following scopes of work: 1. Demolition 2. Cast In Place Concrete 3. Reinforcing Supply 4. Masonry 5. Structural & Misc Steel Supply 6. Structural Steel & Precast Erection 7. Roofing & Sheet Metal 8. Wire Mesh Partitions 9. Fire Suppression – Prequalification Required 10. Plumbing – Prequalification Required 11. HVAC - Prequalification Required 12. Electrical, Communications, Security – Prequalification Required 13. Earthwork 14. Site Utilities 15. Surveying All bidders will be required to provide a dual obligee supply or payment & performance bond listing MCL and Metropolitan Utilities District as obligees. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible bidder, financial responsibility, general ability and capacity to perform the work, suitability for the task, and compliance with the project's schedule. MCL reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of the owner.
