Sealed proposals will be received for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to properly construct all improvements generally designated as 186th Street Improvements. The work consists of construction or other effectuation of items such as installing silt fences, inlet protections, construction entrances, concrete washouts, stormwater pollution prevention plan maintenance, clearing and grubbing, on-site excavation, embankment (borrow), subgrade preparation, constructing concrete pavement and PCC median surfacing, sidewalks, aggregate bedding for various storm sewer pipes, trench stabilization, storm manholes, curb inlets, area inlets, external frame seal installation, seeding, rolled erosion control, type B rip-rap, paint marking, preformed tape symbol installation, temporary traffic control, and mobilization/demobilization, including related preparatory and subsidiary work. All work must comply with the provided drawings and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by a certified check drawn on an FDIC-insured bank in the amount of $56,200.00 payable to the Treasurer, Sanitary and Improvement District No. 382 of Sarpy County, Nebraska, or a bid bond for the same amount, as evidence of good faith and as agreed liquidated damages if the accepted bidder fails to enter into contract and furnish a satisfactory bond within ten days after notice of award. The bond must be for 100% of the total bid price. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty days after the bid opening date. Plans and Specifications may be obtained at the designated offices or online, with all document procurement costs being the bidder's responsibility and non-refundable. Bids will only be accepted from those listed on the plan holders lists maintained at the engineer's office and Standard Digital Imaging. The District reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids. The Engineer's estimate for the work is $1,103,000.00.
