The project involves the enlargement and modernization of Elevator #21 located in Atherton Hall at University Park. The work includes the complete demolition and removal of the existing elevator system and the expansion of the existing hoistway to accommodate a new, stretcher-compliant traction elevator. ELEVATOR #21 TO BE COMPLETELY REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A NEW LARGER ELEVATOR. REDESIGN OF ROOMS ADJACENT TO THE EXISTING ELEVATOR HOISTWAY TO BE REDESIGNED TO WORK WITH THE NEW LARGER ELEVATOR HOISTWAY.
