Pump Station 5, 14, 38, 53, & 57 Improvements Project The Project consists of the following major components: 1. Replacement of existing station pumps, valves, piping, exterior door and cable hoists at Pump Stations 5, 14, and 38. 2. Electrical upgrades, including building modifications, site lighting, and transfer switches at Pump Stations 14 and 38. 3. Replacement of miscellaneous metals, piping, and valves at Pump Station 53. 4. Installation of corrosion control equipment at Pump Stations 53 and 57. Locations- PUMP STATION 14 CONWAY RD. MONTGOMERY, AL PUMP STATION 5 4137 OAK ST. MONTGOMERY, AL PUMP STATION 53 STABLEWAY DR. ' MONTGOMERY, AL PUMP STATION 38 ROQUEMORE ST. MONTGOMERY, AL PUMP STATION 57 KILBY DR ' MONTGOMERY, AL The completed Work will provide Owner with mechanical, electrical, and structural improvements at Pump Station No. 5, 14, and 38. The Work includes: - Replacement of existing submersible pumps with new Owner purchased submersible pumps, including base elbows and guide rails at Pump Station 5. -Replacement of existing submersible pumps at Pump Station 14 and 38 with new submersible pumps with N style impellers, including base elbows and guide rails. Replacement of existing discharge piping and valves with new piping and valves through tie in to manhole 634 at Pump Stations 5. Replacement of existing discharge piping and valves with new piping and valves through the discharge tee in the effluent valve box at Pump Stations 14 and 38. Installation of a new discharge valve downstream of the bypass piping connection at Pump Stations 5, 14, and 38. Cleaning pump station wet well, including recoating of painted steel where necessary at Pump Stations 5 and 14. Cleaning pump station wet well and access hatches, including recoating of painted steel where necessary at Pump Station 38. Replacement of the existing hoist with a new cable hoist at Pump Stations 5, 14, and 38. Replacement of existing galvanized W1 piping at the station with new PEX piping from meter to inside the station at Pump Station 5. Replacement of valves and operator with new rising stem remote operator with wheel handle at Pump Stations 5 and 14. Removal of existing influent gate/valve and operator outside of station and replacement with new sluice gate with rising stem operator and with handwheel in wet well at Pump Station 38. Installation of new pump station wet well ladder, lockable access hatch and grab handle for the entrance and replacement of galvanized grating over the check valve pit with an aluminum grate at Pump Station 5. Replacement intermediate platform in the wet well at Pump Station 5. Replacement of existing wet well hatch with new aluminum hatch with lock at Pump Station 14. Installation of new access framing over existing wet well opening at Pump Station 14. Installation of new pump station wet well ladder at Pump Station 38. Installation of new pump station wet well ladder, hatches, access framing, and grab handle at Pump Station 14. Coating the existing pump station facility roof with traffic rated coating to prevent concrete deterioration at Pump Station 5. Site upgrades including site lighting, fencing, tree removal, road/drive replacement, worktable addition, wet well venting, conduit replacement, light replacement and outlet replacement. Replacement oflevel device with new level device and back up floats at Pump Stations 5, 14, and 38. Replacement ofthe existing pump station pump control panel and electrical panel with new pump control panel and electrical panel at Pump Station 5. Replacement of existing pump station pump control panel, electrical transfer switch, generator, disconnect/plug, and electrical panel with new pump control panel, electrical transfer switch, generator disconnect/plug, and electrical panel at Pump Stations 14 and 38. Conversion of site communications to cellular and demolish existing antenna tower at Pump Station 5. Installation of a saddle mounted relief valve prior to check valves at Pump Station 14. Removal of existing coating at pump station building ceiling, replacement of any rotten wood in the ceiling, louver vents and paint, replacement of the power utility pole at Pump Station 38. Installation of corrosion control tank, pump skid, concrete pad, panels, fill station, safety shower, and other applicable items as shown at Pump Stations 53 and 57. Replacement of miscellaneous metals at Pump Station 53.
