Renovation of a residential development in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Questions are due by 4:00 PM EST on November 11. All pre-proposal inquiries regarding this project shall be submitted in writing via electronic email to the Design Project Manager, Patrick McCafferty, Patrick.W.McCafferty@uscg.mil, and Contract Specialist, Chad Messer, chad.a.messer@uscg.mil Questions shall reference the drawing/detail and/or specification section including paragraph number. Request for Information (RFI) shall be submitted on the form provided with the solicitation and submitted to the point of contact listed above no later than 10 calendar days prior to the task order announcement closing. 1.1 BASE WORK #1: Project scope consists of demoing existing hydronic heating boilers, expansion tanks, thermostats and piping/valves that cannot be reused in 57 housing units and installing new boilers, expansion tanks, thermostats, pumps and new valves as required. Existing galvanized steel vent pipe shall be demolished and new CPVC vent pipe shall be installed to replace. Major items of work shall include the following: 1.1.1 Demolish existing boilers, expansion tanks, thermostats and associated equipment. Demolish existing galvanized steel exhaust pipe. 1.1.2 Install new boilers, expansion tanks, thermostats and pumps and associated piping as required. Install new CPVC exhaust piping to sidewall exhaust. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
