Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids and to accept any bids which in the opinion of the City Commission may be most advantageous to the City of Sault Ste. Marie and in accordance with the City's "Award Process" and other bidding documents. Question Deadline 03/02/2026 All questions must be submitted via email to: Brian Masterson bmasterson@saultcity.com. Proposals must follow the format outlined in Section III - Proposal Requirements and be signed by an authorized representative. Proposals must remain valid for 120 days from the submission deadline. The City will evaluate proposals based on qualifications, responsiveness, price, and overall value to the City. The City reserves the right to negotiate final terms prior to award. Direct replacement of a Dodg e TDT-825 shaft mounted speed reducer. o Ratio 24.62:1 w/ backstop and motor mount o 20 HP, 1750 rpm, 3/60/230/460 volt motor o Power transmission between motor and reducer is by means of "V" belts and sheaves o Purchasing equipment only. Installation is not required. o Manufacturer Warranty Above specs are for the current speed reducers. Bids are for a direct replacement. After bids are reviewed, city may purchase up to (4) four. Original purchase sheets are attached to this RFP.
