The Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec is seeking tenders for the procurement of construction services under the contract for: Flexible and hard floor coverings at the Société's head office. The work will be carried out under a management and construction contract. Once the contract has been awarded, the Company will assign the contract to the manager-builder, Pomerleau Inc., which will become fully responsible for the contract as general contractor. The Corporation will not disburse any funds in connection with the performance of this contract, as the amount of the work is already provided for in the contract with the manager-builder entered into in connection with tender CRW59842 (SEAO reference number 20006128). Before the contract is concluded, the Contractor whose name is selected will be asked to provide a guarantee for the Contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services in an amount equivalent to 50% of the contract amount, provided in the form of a surety bond issued by a company legally authorized to act as surety, in accordance with the third paragraph of section 12 of the Regulation respecting construction work contracts of public bodies.
