Sealed proposals are requested for athletic upgrades at H.B. Thompson Middle School under the contract for civil and site work. The work will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder who can meet the experience, technical, and budget requirements as specified. Bids must be submitted on the standard proposal form, in sealed opaque envelopes, clearly marked with the job name and bidder's address. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent of the total bid amount as a commitment to enter into a contract if accepted. Certification of the bonding company is required. Bidders must agree to hold their bid price for forty-five days after the formal bid opening. Instructions include obtaining bid documents from the designated plan room, with fees and policies specified for digital and hard copies, including refund and shipping arrangements. All addenda will be distributed to registered plan holders. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informality, and accept the bid in the best interest of the School District.
