Site work for a power facility in Geneva, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade power facility.
The work consists of the purchase, installation, supply of necessary labor, shipping and handling of materials and equipment, and all related work for the Geneva Substation Racking Device. This project involves meeting the technical requirements for the purchase of a universal remote racking device for breakers in the medium voltage switchgear within the City of Geneva Public Works service territory. The universal remote racking device must accommodate the medium voltage switchgear breakers for each substation and by manufacturer as listed in the provided specifications table. All work must conform to the specifications prepared by the City of Geneva Electric Utility. Bidders must submit duplicate sealed proposals in an envelope clearly marked "Geneva Substation Racking Device Bid." Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond signed by a surety company authorized in Illinois, or by a cashier's check or certified check in the amount of ten percent of the base bid. Proposals received after the specified time will be returned unopened and rejected. Bidders must submit signed certification stating compliance with prevailing wage rates and compliance with relevant Illinois statutes. The City of Geneva reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities.
