Site work and renovation of a civil project in Palm Desert, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The awarded contractor is Cora Constructors, Inc. with a contract amount of $1,949,949. The anticipated start date is 2/20/2025. Civil, Mechanical and Electrical modifications include, but are not limited to relining Lift Station 81-07 interior wet well and replacing the chemical odor scrubbers at both lift stations. The new odor control systems for LS 55-12 and LS 81-07 will be comprised of open bed biofilters in concrete basins with perforated pipe distribution system, engineered media, and irrigation system. Potential bidders must be able to comply with the Installation Floater/Builders Risk insurance requirements described in Section 5 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder shall provide Installation Floater Insurance, including Flood and Earthquake, for the full amount of the contract. The successful bidder has fifteen (15) days following receipt of the Notice of Award to provide insurance documents. The number of days beyond the original fifteen (15) days it takes to receive this will be deducted from the Contract Times.
