Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bloomington, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received for construction and material projects. The first project consists of the reconstruction of CH 12 / 2200 N Road from Ropp Rd (CH 39) to Sweeney Lane (1400 E Rd), including HMA surface binder course on aggregate sub bases, aggregate shoulders, earthwork, concrete curb & gutter, pipe culvert installation, and related necessary items. Additional material sections involve supplying various aggregate and bituminous materials by ton, delivered on truck (FOB), including seal coat aggregate, various gradations of railroad aggregate, bit mix Sylvax, HMA surface course mix, and fill sand. All Bidders Authorization Forms must be completed and on file with the Highway Department prior to the listed deadline. Pre-qualification is not required. The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Proposals may be obtained online or at the Highway Department office. This project consists of the reconstruction of CH 12 with HMA Surface and Binder Course on aggregate subbases abutted by aggregate shoulders. Other work items includes earthwork, concrete curb & gutter, pipe culvert installation and related items necessary to complete the project.
