Bids must be submitted no later than 11 am on December 11 at the Wayland Admin. Office, 893 E. Superior St., Wayland, MI 49348, with a public bid opening shortly after. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled at Wayland High School, 870 E Superior St, Wayland, MI 49348. Bid bonds and payment and performance bonds are required. Bids received after the specified date, time, and location will not be opened, considered, or accepted. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. General: Immediately on discovery of the need for additional information, clarification, or interpretation of the Contract Documents, Contractor shall prepare and submit an RFI in the form specified. 1. Coordinate and submit RFIs in a prompt manner so as to avoid delays in Contractor's work or work of subcontractors. 3. Owner's cost for Architect's services, at Architect's normal billing rate, in responding to requests for information from the Contractor, will be deducted from the Contract Amount if the intent of the documents is clear in the opinion of the Architect.
