The scope of work includes the rehabilitation of Lift Station Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6 & 9 within Timber Lane Utility District, Harris County, Texas. Work includes re-coating of wet-well and above ground piping at sanitary sewer lift stations, near-white blasting of pipes and pumps before re-coatings are applied, and removal and replacement of lift station fences and gates as specified. The bid includes all bypass pumping as required to complete the project. Instructions to bidders require that each bid must be submitted electronically as prescribed, accompanied by a bid bond or certified/cashier's check in an amount not less than two percent of the total bid. All bid documents must be downloaded and submitted through the specified online platform. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 100% of the cost of improvements. All bonds must be issued by surety companies authorized in Texas and meeting specified rating and regulatory requirements. All blanks on the bid form must be completed, and no changes to official forms or documents are allowed. Failure to comply with any instruction, omission, or irregularity may result in the rejection of a bid.
