Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The Work includes reconstruction of Taxiway B at the Kansas City Downtown Airport. The project work includes demolition of the existing taxiway pavement, erosion control, pipe removal and installation, earthwork, cement treated subgrade, crushed base course, crushed aggregate base course, lean concrete base course, Portland Cement Concrete Paving, pavement marking, electrical light and sign installation, sodding, seeding, and mulching. The minimum company-wide goals are a (12.7%) minority workforce and (6.9%) women workforce. The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Taxiway B Reconstruction - KCMO.
