In general, the project consists of complete removal of the existing air cooled chiller and installation of a new one at Sand Lake Elementary. The building system chilled water pumps will be removed and replaced along with new variable frequency drives and a new glycol feeder unit. Lump-sum bids will be received on a single prime construction contract for the entire work. Instructions for bidders include the requirement that bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid must accompany each bid as described in the Project Manual and the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities, and to reject any and all bids or portions thereof. Bids received after the time set for receipt of bids will not be accepted. Electronic and hardcopy bidding documents are available, with specific procedures for acquiring them. Only those who have requested project documents in the formats described will be provided addenda.
