Site work for a water / sewer project in Georgetown, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 5,600 lineal feet of 8" PVC gravity sewer main; 2,050 lineal feet of 6" PVC gravity sewer laterals, 221 vertical feet of 4’ diameter sanitary sewer manholes, 4 E/One Simplex Grinder Stations, and restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may be obtained from Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, and are available on compact disc (PDF files) for a non-refundable charge of $75.00, or as printed documents for $150.00 per set. Only full sets will be issued. Bidders are responsible for ensuring they obtain a complete set from the Issuing Office. Bid security is required in accordance with the instructions. The project is funded by the Delaware Clean Water State Revolving Fund. Applicable provisions include Delaware Prevailing Wage Regulations, Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Provisions, Executive Order no. 11246 regarding non-discrimination, Certification of Non-segregated Facilities, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, American Iron and Steel requirements, and compliance with Delaware’s Drug Testing for Large Public Works Contracts. Any confidential information in a bid must be isolated and identified by the bidder, with a supporting statement. Sussex County reserves the right to extend the time and place of bid opening with at least two calendar days’ notice.
