1. The summary of Work was reviewed. 2. Bidders are reminded to be consistent in the use of their company name when completing the bid documentation. 3. Project is subject to State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates. 4. The project is Sales Tax Exempt as noted in the documents. 5. Normal work hours will be: 7 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday. 6. Low Bidder will be required to provide proof of experience 7. The Owner is carrying the Builders' Risk Insurance for the project. Note the limitations per the Supplementary General Conditions. 8. The bid security is 10% of the bid. There are conflicting percentages noted in the bid documents. 9. The Engineer's Construction Budget for the project is $1,748,247.00. There is a contingency of $205,676.00 for the project. The maximum construction funds available for the project are 1,953,923.00. 10. Note the Insurance Requirements in the Supplementary General Conditions. There is a $5,000,000 minimum Commercial Liability minimum. 11. This project is subject to the Build America Buy America Act as noted. 12. All proposed substitution or equal products must be submitted for review prior to bidding. No post bid substitutions will be accepted. Question deadline: 11/26/2025 at 02:00 PM. The date of substantial completion is November 30, 2026. Liquidated damages may result from a failure to have all work substantially complete by this date. Bidders shall not be responsible for paying sales taxes on materials incorporated into the structure. It is the intent of Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board to award the project in its entirety to one contractor. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 100% of the bid if in the form of a Bid Bond or in the amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid if in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit, for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders and pursuant with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. and bid bonds must be filed with original signatures. Facsimile and electronic copies of the letter of credit, bid bond and Power of Attorney of the Surety will be deemed non-responsive. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration of the State of Ohio in accordance with all provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Ohio, ORC Sections 4115.03 and 4115.16 and related requirements The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. In no case will an award be made until all necessary investigations are made as to the qualifications of the bidder to whom it is proposed to award the contract.
