Sealed bids will be received for the purchase of Pit Run for use on Parish Roads for the year 2026. All gravel must meet state specifications. Pit Run can be mined anywhere inside or outside of LaSalle Parish boundaries. Trucks must be state certified and materials will be spot checked to determine if they meet state specifications. The aggregate must be a uniform mixture of sand, clay, and siliceous gravel, stone, or recycled Portland cement concrete, and must be reasonably free from foreign matter. Bids should state prices for delivery as well as loaded on parish trucks. Trucking expense will be factored into bid acceptance at $1.50 per mile. All bids shall be marked as such on the envelope and the company name must appear on the outside of the envelope. The Police Jury reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all bids.
