Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Brentwood, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.
The City of Brentwood is seeking bids from qualified contractors for work associated with its Service Center campus improvements . The project scope includes: Demolition of Existing Materials Storage Area to become New Covered Vehicle and Equipment Storage Area, Installation of Pre-Engineered Metal Roof, Regrading and Construction of New CMU Materials Storage Area with Roll-Up Steel Door and Roof Canopy, Existing Testing Shop Building Electrical and Mechanical Upgrades, Installation of Double Door, Storm Drainage and Utility Upgrades. The City of Brentwood is seeking bids from qualified contractors for work associated with its Service Center campus improvements located at 1750 General George Patton Drive, Brentwood, TN. Question Deadline 12/19/2025 at 4:00 PM CT Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this bid via online. The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid, and to accept any bid, which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the City. SCOPE: This project consists of improvements to the City of Brentwood's Service Center Operation's Center, located at 1750 General George Patton Drive, Brentwood, TN, and include the following: 1. The construction and erection of a new masonry wall with dividers to store various materials (topsoil, rock and waste material) with a portion being a complete and weatherproof building with roll up steel door including electrical and mechanical components. 2. The demolition of existing masonry wall dividers, and bollards. 3. The furnishing and installation of a pre-engineered metal building (roof structure) including footers, frame and other appurtenances for a complete and vehicle canopy area. 4. Installation of a Double Door in the Test Shop building, and electrical and mechanical upgrades in Shop Building. 5. Installation of Storm Drainage Inlet and piping to new headwall. 6. Paving, grading and restoration. 7. Any/All other work which could be considered incidental to completion of the project as shown on the Plans. SEQUENCE OF WORK: Work shall be sequenced to allow for Service Center operations to have use and access of materials (stone, etc.) in existing material bins with minimal interruption. Therefore, it is anticipated that the contractor construct the new material bins first, then transfer the existing stored materials (topsiol, rock, waste material) to the new bins prior to starting work to demolish and construct the preengineered metal building and roof structure at this northwest site location. Materials relocation shall be the responsibility of the owner and shall be coordinated with the contractor. PROJECT TIME The project time shall be 210 consecutive calendar days for Substantial Completion and 30 consecutive calendar days for Final Completion for a full contract time of 240 calendar days to complete the work as shown on the Contract Documents.
