Sealed bids are being accepted for furnishing all plant, material, equipment, and labor, and to complete construction of the following projects: PROJECT NO. 222311 STREETLIGHT INFILL PHASE 2 - Installation of Streetlights at various locations in the Arizona Public Service (APS) area. Each bid shall be in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents, and shall be set forth and submitted on the BID DOCUMENTS included with the project specifications book. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid, made payable to the City of Glendale, Arizona, to ensure that the successful bidder will enter into the contract if awarded and submit the required Certificate of Insurance, Payment Bond and Performance Bond. All proposal guarantees, except those of the three lowest qualified bidders, will be returned immediately following the opening and checking of proposals. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality or irregularity in a bid. Bidders that have an open litigation with the city of Glendale will not be considered for additional work until litigation is resolved. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of fifty (50) days after opening. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids.
