The Town of Webb requests proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for the implementation of approved FY 2026 CDBG projects. The Engineer will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates for the application and, if awarded, providing all engineering services through project closeout in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. The scope of work includes: 1) preparing plans and specifications, 2) distributing bid documents, 3) assisting in bid opening and preparing bid tabulation, 4) assisting in executing construction contracts, 5) holding pre-construction conferences, and 6) performing construction inspection, including periodic reports to the Town of Webb and approving all payment requests. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal for CDBG Engineering Services" with one original and six copies. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. Proposals should address the qualifications of assigned persons, firm experience and past projects, and capacity for performance including number and title of staff assigned. The Town of Webb reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and will award a contract to the individual or firm whose proposal receives the highest points and is determined to be most advantageous to the Town.
