The project entails roof repairs for Fire Station 18, located at 7232 Myakka Valley Trail, Sarasota, 34240. The work includes the repair of a portion of the existing station to address structural and weatherproofing deficiencies, as well as the replacement of damaged metal support structures for the awning on the front of the station. These damages were sustained during Hurricane Milton. Refer to the solicitation documents and attachments for minimum qualifications, scope/specifications, and insurance requirements. We anticipate having a signed contract by the end of January or mid February. Once a contract is signed, a PO can be issued and work can begin SCOPE OF SEVICES A. Contractor shall repair the roof of Fire Station 18 to address structural and weatherproofing deficiencies, including replacing damaged metal support structures for the front awning. B. Contractor shall remove all damaged or deteriorated roofing materials in affected areas. C. Contractor shall remove the existing damaged metal supports and associated hardware from the front of the awning. D. Contractor shall fabricate and install new metal supports for the front awning. E. Contractor shall apply corrosion-resistant coatings as appropriate. F. Contractor shall replace roofing underlayment, insulation, and panels in damaged areas, and install new underlayment, insulation and panels to match existing. G. Contractor shall seal all penetrations and joints. H. Contractor shall conduct leak tests upon completion of repairs. I.
