Contract No. 1 Bids are invited for removal of existing sidewalks, curb, and gutter; installation of sidewalks, curb, and gutter; and installation of ADA ramps. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety must be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Kenedy or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of contract to the contractor.
