The village of woodridge is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide (2) the new public works facility. Commissioning authority (cxa) services for two separate projects New public works facility: commissioning for a new +-68,000 sf public works building with construction value is estimated to be in the range of $20 million. The solicitation period will be 4 weeks. The commissioning contract award is scheduled for january 2026. Request for proposal issued 02/2026 Gc contract award & notice to proceed: 04/2026 On-site construction activity begins: 07/2026 Substantial completion: 08/2027 Project closeout complete: 11/2027 The village will select a commissioning authority (cxa) using a best-value evaluation that considers both qualifications and cost. Proposals will be scored on relevant project experience, team qualifications and certifications, understanding of the plans/specifications and proposed commissioning approach, staffing, schedule, and capacity, past performance and references, and the clarity and completeness of requiredsubmittals. Cost will be evaluated for each contract line-item fee. The village may request interviews, seek clarifications, negotiate scope and fee with the highest-ranked proposer, and, if negotiations are unsuccessful, proceed to the next highest-ranked proposer. Award will be made to the proposer whose offer is most advantageous to the village, all factors considered. In addition to the cost proposal as delineated in the rfp document, interested firms must complete aia document c305-2024, consultant's qualification statement, the completed certification and affidavit forms included as exhibit f, and a narrative description of the proposed commissioning approach for each project. The description should show an understanding of the plans, specifications, schedule, and staffing needs for each project.
