Bids are solicited for furnishing goods, supplies, equipment, and/or services as set forth in this solicitation. Bids must be received electronically or by sealed bid in the Purchasing Office by the specified date and time. Sealed bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bid number, bid name, closing date, and company name clearly marked. Sealed bids delivered late will not be opened or considered. If accepted, the bidder agrees to furnish all items upon which prices are offered at the specified prices and upon the terms and conditions contained in the specifications. Bids will be accepted for 90 calendar days after the bid opening date. The scope includes providing repair, machine shop, and field support services for potable and recycle water. Specifically, the contract covers: 1. Repair of centrifugal pumps including horizontal split case and vertical turbine potable water, recycled water, and wastewater. 2. Specialty machine shop services involving the fabrication of parts and assemblies not directly related to pump repair (e.g., brackets, mounts, supports). Machine work associated with pump repairs, such as shafts and couplings, is to be priced as part of the pump repair. 3. Field support and technical services related to the removal, re-installation, and troubleshooting of high-service pumping systems. 4. The contractor must be a service provider for the following pump manufacturers: Aurora, ITT, Paco, Fairbanks, and Hydro.
