The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified general contractors for an on-call contract(s) to complete various building renovations in existing City owned properties/facilities. The City intends to make awards to multiple contractors as a result of this procurement. The awarded Contractor(s) shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, materials, supplies, parts, equipment, transportation, record documentation, and other associated work and responsibilities necessary to perform general contracting services for specific projects. Services shall include, but not be limited to: renovations and/or improvements, space reconfigurations, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical work, miscellaneous carpentry, drywall services, window replacement, fence projects, painting interior and exterior, roofing projects, specialty floor and wall systems maintenance and repair, door and door systems, masonry and concrete work, interior and exterior building alterations or renovations, demolition, excavation, specialty work, emergency repair/replacement, and other related work. The original contract term shall be five (5) years from date of award. The City reserves the right to cancel and terminate this Contract, without penalty, upon ten (10) days written notice to contractor. This contract may be renewed for: two (2) twelve (12) month periods.
