Washtenaw County Purchasing Division is issuing a Request for Proposal on behalf of Parks & Recreation for B2B Boardwalk Redecking at Dexter Huron Metropark. Completed bids must be uploaded using the 'Submit a Proposal' feature on the Open Bids listing. Question Deadline 12/12/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Please direct technical questions regarding this RFP to Peter Sanderson (sandersonp@washtenaw.org) GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK The project consists of replacing all deck boards on 7 boardwalks within the park. Three different boardwalk deck materials are defined for the project Douglas Fir, Southern Yellow Pine, and a Fiberglass Boardwalk redecking product (by Links Bridges or approved equal). Additional work includes replacement of joists that are discovered to be in poor condition upon demolition of decking surface; removal of small sections of HMA that have settled and installation of concrete in its place; traffic control, site restoration, and other related items. The contractor shall be responsible for site layout. The contractor shall supply, furnish, and install all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to construct the project in its entirety.
